The story
Zawadi was born eight months ago with a heart condition that needs surgery. Her doctors at Kenyatta National Hospital say the operation should happen within the next two weeks.
Her parents, Grace and Peter, run a small kiosk and have already used their savings on tests, scans and medication. The surgery and hospital stay will cost KES 1,000,000.
